National Association Of State Mental Health Program Directors

National Technical Assistance Center
NTAC delivers customized, on-site technical assistance to State Mental Health Agencies, State Mental Health Planning and Advisory Councils, consumers, families and other organizations on issues related to mental health planning, service delivery and evaluation such as managed care, housing, system financing, performance measures and employment; plans and hosts targeted technical assistance and training events including regional and national conferences and workshops, training institutes, focus groups and other consensus development activities and publishes a wide range of materials designed to help State Mental Health Agencies and other NTAC constituents apply the knowledge gained through research, evaluation and practice to mental health service settings.

The US Senate Special Committee On Aging
The Senate Special Committee on Aging was first established in 1961 as a temporary committee. It was granted permanent status on February 1, 1977. Throughout its existence, the Special Committee on Aging has served as a focal point in the Senate for discussion and debate on matters relating to older Americans. Often, the Committee will submit its findings and recommendations for legislation to the Senate. In addition, the Committee publishes materials of assistance to those interested in public policies which relate to the elderly.
